Using Acrylic

I submitted this creation to Heartfelt Creations Design Team entry.

I used 6x4 ½ Acrylic Sheet for the front of the card and same size of White Card Stock for inside/back of card. I connected the Acrylic Sheet and White Card stock with a Blue Marble paper (using 3n1 glue to not show through acrylic sheet) with the blue covering half of the acrylic sheet and half the white sheet. Then glued the grass paper onto the white sheet. 

Used the Elizabeth Tree die on wood design paper to cut out two trees. Then used the cloud shape Elizabeth die to cut out pieces of leaves for the trees from Lt/Dk Green Paper. Then glued one tree on front of card and the other on the back of the acrylic sheet to cover exactly where the front tree is – used 3n1 glue on both trees. Glued down green paper for tree leaves on both trees overlaying light and green paper covering all limbs of trees. Took a white flower sticker from my stock and highlighted it with a Stampin’ Up marker. 

Colored the adhesive part of the green leaves on flower to help it show through on the acrylic and placed on front of acrylic sheet. Placed a white flower sticker with no leaves highlighted with marker on back of acrylic. Used the Ellentina Cutting Butterfly and Dragonfly dies and cut the tin can and wax paper. Colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. Glued the tin butterfly and tin dragonfly onto tree on front of card with mini glue dots. Glued the wax butterfly onto tree on back side of front of card with mini glue dots. 

Stamped the Stampabilities Stamp saying and Stampin’ Up Thank You using Stazon Black Ink on White Raised Paper Card Stock. Used a flower shaped Shapez Xyron Die to cut out the Thank you and colored the spaces of stamp with Stampin’ Up marker. Drew a cloud shape around Stampabilities saying with pencil using Print Working Design Cloud Stencil and cut it out. Distressed both sayings with Quick Quotes Chalk Ink and glued on inside of card. 

By using the acrylic you can see the inside of the card from the front.
