Ink It Up

Here is what I came up with for this month's Quick Quote Contest.

I made a card for my mother-in-law to thank her for helping me alter my daughter's dance costumes.

I used an Sizzix emboss folder and embossed the card and used a Q-tip with green with envy powder puff ink to color in the raised areas. I used red hot and Bloody Mary powder puff ink for the flowers and yellow with highlight of biscotti for flower stem.

I used a butterfly stencil with multiple powder puff inks using a small narrow piece of rubber to put the ink in the stencil. I used a sizzix framelit for the shape of thank you with distressing it with Blue Hawaiian. I distressed the butterfly with coal mine powder puff.

Raised butterfly with raised glue dots to make it look like it is flying. I added a Queen & company bling to the thank you to help it stand out. The thank you is a stamp I had in my collection from stampin' up which was embossed with glitter in black ink.

I am really impressed with how this card turned out. This was a fun project to do because I love quick quotes powder puff inks as you saw in the project I turned in last month that used them as well.

Supplies:
White ultra smooth premium white cardstock, Sizzix Jim Holtz texture fades emboss folder, Sizzix Big Shot oval framelit small, Thank you stamp, Butterfly stencil, Quick Quotes Powder Puff inks - multiple colors, Queen & Company Bling
