Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop for October: Black, White, & One Color

Our theme this month is Black, White, & One Other Color.

I choose gold as my other color and this is what I came up with this month.

I had a hard time with this one because I love me some color but when I saw these dies I thought this would work. I am happy how it turned out. Hope you are too.

It is hard to see in the photos but the bottom two layers are pushed up with dimensional dots and the Merry Christmas is embossed with gold powder. I was going to do white but the gold looked better except in the pictures.

I love the embossing paste that Stampin' Up is now carrying. You can do so much with it.

Supplies Used:
Paper: Gold Foil, Merry Little Christmas DSP, Whisper White
Ink: Versa Mark, Whisper White Ink Refill
Dies: Hometown Greetings, Card Front Builders
Stamps: Star of Light
Embossing Powder: Gold

Fall Leaves

Another fall card with the Baby Wipe Technique. When you do this technique you want to make several cards at one time.
I also love backgrounds but sometimes they are time consuming. This one was pretty easy. Stampin' Up ink blends very nicely on glossy paper.

Covering the glossy paper with ink makes it more friendly with the Polymer Stamps.

Supply List:
Paper: Glossy White, Crushed Curry
Inks: Pool Party, Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Early Espresso
Ink Refills: Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze
Stamps: Colorful Season

Baby Wipe Technique & Washi Tape

The baby wipe technique is tricky on white glossy paper especially with polymer stamps. Polymer stamps tend to stick to the glossy paper tearing it or the ink smears but the paper sure makes it look good.

I love this washi tape from the holiday catalog. Check it out on my website. It blends so well with the fall theme.

Supplies Used:
Paper: Glossy White, Crush Curry, So Saffron
Ink Refill: Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze
Washi Tape: Year of Cheer Specialty
Ink: Early Espresso
Stamps: Colorful Season

Thinking of You- Using the Baby Wipe Technique

I finally got to try the baby wipe technique. I made several cards using this technique. Here is one. I am also going to use this one for my first workshop, can't wait.

I love fall and all the colors. I also love the Colorful Season Stamp set, you can do so much with it.

Supplies Use:
Paper: Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, White Glossy
Ink Refill: Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler
Ribbon: Burlap
Stamps: Colorful Season
Ink: Early Espresso
Die set: Bunch of Banners
Baby Wipes

Glitter and More Glitter

I love the music DSP paper in the new Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog because I love to use music stuff for lots of things but especially Christmas. The only thing I thought the paper needed was a little bling.

I first cut the paper to the size I wanted to include the music I wanted. I then used a square die to cut out the center.

I then covered the paper with Versamark Ink. Need to make sure all of it is covered.

Covered the paper with Iridescent Ice Embossing powder making sure completely covered. Shook off excess. Then heated with heat tool.

The embossing powder gives the paper a glitter shine making it a little darker then the original paper. Also some of the back is showing through giving it some more detail

Popped the champagne foil/music paper with foam tape. I love this card but the pictures don't do it justice.

Supplies Used:
Paper: Real red - 5x5.75, Champagne Foil 4 7/8 x 5 5/8, Merry Music DSP 4 3/8x5 3/8, Garden Green, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Real Red, Versamark
Glitter Pen: Wink of Stella
Embossing Powder: Iridescent Ice
Punch: Holly Berry Builder
Dies: Framelit Square Collection
Foam Tape

Carols of Christmas

The Holiday catalog has been released from Stampin'up. It has a lot of great stuff in it. I could not wait to get my hands on the Year of Cheer Designer Specialty Paper and the Washi Tape. As soon as I saw the Washi Tape/Paper/Carols of Christmas Stamp set I had this idea in mind.

I still have a lot of older projects to post but I was so excited about this idea and the new catalog that I just had to post this first.

For more information on the new catalog please check out my website by clicking here. You can get all the projects used from my website.

I put the Washi Tape on white paper and then used the bow punch to cut out the bow and glued it in the center. I like the red one the best. Let me know what you think.

Supplies Used:
Paper: Glossy White, Whisper White, Real Red, Year of Cheer DSP
Washi Tape: Year of Cheer Specialty
Ink: Versa mark, Real Red
Embossing Powder: Gold
Stamps: Carols of Christmas
Punch: Bow Builder

Graduation 2016

Here is a card I made for one of my son's friends for graduation last year. I used my Cricut and old stamps from Stampin' up.
This took me awhile to come up with the design. I love how it turned out.

GRADUATION 2015

This is the card I made for my son and his friends when they graduated high school in 2015.

I cased a card on face book but made it open in the middle. At that time I did not have a lot of quote stamps so I printed some off on my computer on card stock. I used card stock I had in my current supply.

I love the Stampin' Up owl punch. I am upset that they are no longer selling it.

All his friends loved the card. My son loved his too.

Hello Everyone,
I am sorry I have been away for a few years but it has been very busy. I am hoping to post some projects that I have done over the last few years as well of some current ones.

In March this year I joined Stampin’ Up as a demonstrator which I am very excited about. I just wished I could have updated my blog sooner. I am going to try and post more projects to my blog to show what I am up to and how to do these neat techniques.

If you are interested in Stampin’ Up please check out my website for the latest sales/promotions/information.
