Christmas Card 2014

I was trying to find a colorful idea for a Christmas Card and what is the most colorful - Glitter.

Placed the 2” tape on white card stock and placed the center of the Snowflake Template at bottom of tape and traced pattern onto tape film. Then removed template and cut film of tape along lines with blade leaving film on tape – do not cut all the way through tape, just the film. Repeated this four times.

Removed tape film of outline of shapes and applied Silver Medal glitter onto tape. Removed film of pattern and applied Cardinal Red glitter. Took off rest of tape film of pattern except center and applied Hunter Green glitter. Removed film of center and applied Dessert Sand glitter. Placed pattern of 2 shapes on top and bottom of green card stock. Stamped phrase from Stampin’ Up White Christmas Stamp Set on Glitter Paper using Black Pigment Ink and embossed with Glassy Embossing Powder

Cut out and placed on left center of green card with raised foam glue dots. Used Heartfelt Creations Petite Poinsettia 2 smallest flowers and stamped with Gold pigment Ink on Red card stock. Embossed with Chameleon Embossing Powder. Cut out using Spellbinder Poinsettia Die Cuts. Glued together and placed on right center of card with glue dots.

I will be entering this card into the Quick Quotes Friday Challenge for December
